A policy of a Focus on jobs is great but not one mention of TAFE and very littel on vocational eduaction at all.
Pre-school, primary and secondary eduacation is obviosly important but why the deafening silence regarding tertairy vocational training.
TAFE is under threat in a huge way with the approach of the – “SMART and SKILLED” initiatives.
The details are yet to be explained but unless Aboriginal people are given full access to training opportunities the gap will continue to widen.
